Danielle Allen

Danielle gives practical advice in a friendly and approachable way, and cares about making sure her clients understand their options.

Originally from Ontario, Danielle articled at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT), where she practised as Tribunal Counsel for two years. She then moved to private practice, working as a lawyer in both Toronto and Vancouver.

Danielle first fell in love with the west coast as a Royal Canadian Sea Cadet during summer training just outside of Comox, BC. In 2013, she made the leap and moved to Victoria to begin her Master of Laws degree. Danielle completed her thesis research on the working conditions of temporary foreign workers in the BC hospitality sector. When she’s not in the office you can find her exploring local hiking trails and beaches with her family.

Martin Hoffman

Martin is a strategic thinker who considers every angle to achieve the best results for his clients.

Martin spent two and a half years at the Law Society of British Columbia (LSBC), first as an articling student and later as a legal researcher. He has worked on dozens of opinions to the LSBC’s Discipline Committee, covering a wide variety of professional conduct concerns, as well as assisting counsel to prepare for and conduct disciplinary hearings. Martin has a thorough grasp of both the legal framework governing professionals and the day-to-day reality of how a regulator operates.

Born and raised in Victoria, Martin is glad to be back on Vancouver Island after living in Vancouver. When not working or spending time with his family, he is happiest while hiking in the woods or on the water in his kayak.
